From collecting to creation
After years of collecting pearls, buttons, beads, lockets, watch faces and other bric a brac, little by little the idea of giving them a new life was born. Thus were created Sophie Daniel’s first jewels.Over the years these unusual objects have taken on romantic and religious connotations as well as combining with other materials, such as lace, trimmings and semi-precious stones.Through several collections, Sophie Daniel’s style evolved until a turning point encounter with Christian Lacroix. The artistic dialogue with the couturier transformed jewellery into an adornment. The creativity of haute couture has been combined with the intimate world of personal emotions and shapes.From earrings, necklaces, bracelets, trinkets, Sophie Daniel has now progressed into all forms of fashion accessories and decorative objects.
